Canon announced the development of the RF-S7.8mm F4 STM DUAL lens for its EOS R7 camera. This lens enables the recording of spatial video for Apple Vision Pro, enhancing immersive video experiences. It is part of Canon’s EOS VR System, designed to capture high-quality, depth-rich content. The lens will be available in the fall 2024, marking Canon as the first to offer such a dedicated, interchangeable lens for professional users.
