The 2.6 magnification is great for animals or athletes at distances of 50 to 75 yards away, but when they move closer, or farther away you’re not going to have the option of widening or tightening the shot that you’ll have with a zoom telephoto that extends above and below the 135mm focal length.

I’ve had the chance to use prime lenses.
